Sr. Product Manager - Share

Shutterfly is seeking a successful Senior Product Manager to drive product strategy, definition and execution for our Share services business. We are looking for someone who is passionate about emerging web technologies, social networking and online communities to help build a service that makes Shutterfly an indispensable part of how our customers stay connected with friends and family.
Shutterfly Share includes Share sites, an award-winning service that enables users to create personalized, secure websites for sharing memories with family, friends, and groups such as sports teams, classroom and school activities, and clubs. Since our launch of Share sites, we’ve experienced tremendous momentum and growth. We’re looking for the right person to accelerate this growth, help drive the product strategy and fundamentally impact the Share business.

Responsibilities:

• Lead all aspects of product line success, including gathering and prioritizing customer requirements, writing detailed feature specifications, and working closely with engineering, user experience, operations, customer marketing, customer service, public relations and finance to build and deliver high quality products
• Build product roadmaps to support Shutterfly’s short and long term goals and objectives
• Understand Shutterfly Share services strategic and competitive position, and work to define and deliver the best products which extend that position
• Collect and analyze key site, customer and business metrics and use this data to support the prioritizing and definition of project initiatives
• Define feature set and priorities for Shutterfly Share product offerings, and translate customer and market needs into product requirements documents

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of product management or product marketing experience.
• Ideal candidate would have product marketing/management experience at a consumer-facing Internet company – particularly in Web 2.0 services, social networking/social websites, or online community
• Passion for bringing innovative new products to market
• Motivated, dynamic, creative and results-oriented with a demonstrated track record of strong execution
• Ability to collaborate actively & effectively on multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong analytic and strategic thinking skills
• Experience with market research, competitive analysis, prototype testing, and usability testing
• Excellent project management skills and attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapid growth environment
• MBA a plus
