Sr. Partner Marketing Manager
The Senior Partner Marketing Manager will lead the team that manages all aspects co-marketing relationships and strategic partnerships to drive new customer acquisition. This manager will partner closely with Business Development to evaluate partnerships at the onset, create marketing programs, execute, support, measure and optimize partnerships. The Senior Partner Marketing Manager is critical role that reports to the Senior Director of Marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
- This position will manage a team of Partner Managers.
- Develop strategies to efficiently scale new customer acquisition through partner marketing channels.
- Work with business development to determine which companies to target based on marketing strategy
- Create, evaluate, develop and execute marketing plans with potential and existing partners such as Amazon, Target and Sony.
- Partner with key cross functional teams (e.g. eCommerce, Promotions, Creative, Engineering) to launch partnership programs
- Maintain strong direct relationships with partners and internal teams to support rapid deployment
- Work with creative services to drive relevant campaign asset development consistent with messaging strategy
- Consider relevant seasonal influences, product initiatives and promotional learning to integrate into successful partner marketing programs
- Report program ROI and optimize programs
- Forecast and track all product aspects of any given integrated marketing campaign with a partner
- Other responsibilities as needed
Metrics:
- Number of new customers acquired
- New customer revenue driven
- Cost per new customer acquired
- Activation of new registrants to new customers
Experience:
- Retail marketing experience a strong plus
- Demonstrated leadership experience and results as well as managing high performing teams
- 7+ years of experience leading partnerships and delivering creative marketing programs that produce results
- Demonstrated analytics capabilities, with the ability to manage key program metrics to maximize ROI and report on results
- Strong project and people management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills
- On line marketing experience
- Proactive, energetic, self-starter looking to have a significant impact on business success
- Passion for the Shutterfly customer and meeting their needs
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- BA/BS degree in marketing, finance or related field MBA a plus
