Online Acquisition Manager

The Online Acquisition Manager is responsible for acquiring new customers through online media (paid search, SEO, and display advertising) and other efforts. This position will be an integral member of the Acquisition marketing team and report to the Director of Acquisition.
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Planning, managing, and executing online advertising campaigns. Work with agencies and in-house creative in developing media plans, manage budget and develop creative.
- Planning, managing and executing Paid Search (SEM) campaigns. Work with agency to develop campaign architecture and ad groups, identify keywords, create copy and develop testing strategies to optimize paid search campaigns across Google, Yahoo, MSN and other search engines.
- Planning, managing and executing natural search (SEO) campaign. Work with agency and internal teams to improve SEO standings through website enhancements, copy /meta data optimization and internal process improvement.
- Report performance on all online acquisition efforts including spend, conversions number of customers acquired and ROI. Track and report on campaign results, data analysis, and hold weekly campaign status calls with agencies.
- Optimize existing programs for new customer growth and revenue. Maintain a robust test & learn plan to improve our online ad creative and landing pages. Make recommendations for on-site changes to improve acquisition programs.
- Identify new acquisition programs to drive significant customer growth.
- Develop plans to support new product launches and company initiatives.
- Develop a forecast, on-going monthly budget management, accrual management and PO payment processing.
- Managing two best-in class agencies for paid search/media and SEO. Weekly communications to keep them abreast of new products, features, and set marketing plans for the year.
- Additional responsibilities as requested by Manager.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- 7+ years marketing experience with at least 3 years of online/internet marketing experience.
- BA/BS degree, MBA preferred.
- Previous experience with SEM, SEO and online media is a MUST.
- Experience managing large media budgets.
- Experience managing agencies and 3rd party outside vendors.
- Experience with third party bid management and analytics software. Proficient Google AdWords, Yahoo Search Marketing and Microsoft AdCenter.
- Exceptional analytical, planning and project management skills. Strong spreadsheet, word processing and database skills.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to succeed in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere.
